(07.12.04)

Currently I'm working on adding a 12v trigger, LED knob (adjusts the brightness of the front panel LED), and a bias meter.  The amp is actually running quite cool now.  I was to be able to bump it up or down for winter or summer listening.  Increased bias helps out the sound.

I am also adding an inrush current limiter on the ground to hopefully get rid of some of the turn on thump I have going on.  I hope it helps out.

I have resumed work on the second chassis, and after two days I have about 90% of the second chassis complete.  I am just waiting on the PCB to ship and I will be in business!

(08.23.04)

After too many problems to mention here right now, I have finally got a monoblock working correctly, without hum, buzz, or anything else abnormal.  I ended up doing a complete rebuild on the chassis.  I added a lot more shielding and isolation.  This helped tremendously, and even made it look a lot cleaner and simpler.

I will add some higher resolution pictures as soon as I can borrow a camera and get the second chassis modified with the new design.  It didn't take a whole lot to do, but its still time consuming and it still needs to be completely dismantled to do.  Hopefully I will get some time this week.
